Hello hello … first of all sorry for not uploading last week, but I have had the worst flu and allergies. This time I want to share with you a little thing that I do after each ride that has helped me improved so much.
I remember reading online at some point that you need to keep records of your riding, that quite frankly I’m terrible at. But inspired by that notion I decided about a year ago to ask my self several questions after each ride:
What was today’s focus?
What was the best thing about today’s ride?
What was the thing that I need to improve for tomorrow?
The first to grasp the direction of the lesson and link the work that we put in to the end game. The middle one to recognize the best thing of the day and to try to replicate it. And the third, the same old question of how to improve.
This questions have opened my eyes to things that previously I was not paying attention, also helping to summarize a lesson with a trainer or clinician. But most importantly: by asking those questions I became accountable for what happen and what I need to do for the next ride.
The part that I’m not so good at is keeping record of those questions, but I trying my best to do it right away when I dismount.
Do you do something similar to what I do? Please share!
